TOWN OF INDUSTRY
SPECIAL TOWN MEETING WARRANT
Tuesday, November 17, 2026
GREETING:
In the name of the State of Maine, you are hereby required to notify and warn the inhabitants of the Town of Industry in said county and state, qualified by law to vote in town affairs, to meet at the Town Hall in said Town on Tuesday, the 17th day of November, 2026 A.D., at six o’clock in the evening, then and there to act upon the following article:
Article 1Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â To choose a moderator by written ballot to preside at said meeting.
Article 2Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â To see if the town will vote to purchase a new 2026 GMC, 4 Wheel Drive 1 Ton diesel truck with dump body and Fisher Snow plow. Purchase price is not to exceed $93,000.00.
Funding for this purchase would come from funds that were provided from FEMA for reimbursement for storm cost in May of 2023. Total reimbursement was $125,015.34
Article 3Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â To see if the town will vote to transfer all the remaining funds from the 2023 FEMA reimbursement into a reserve account to replace the single-axle 2015 International plow truck at a later date. Â (+or- $32,015.34)Â Also to transfer all funds received from the sale of the currently owned 2016 Ford diesel 1 ton truck with dump body and Fisher plow into the reserve account.
